The Williams Family

Tuesday, May 21st, 2013

Meet the Williams Family.

This is one of the reasons why the Williams’ backyard is littered with all kinds of sports equipment.
Dad was a great catcher.
Curious George took one for the team.
Trammell knocked it out of the ballpark (and luckily, not into my lens).

A mom is someone who can turn this. . .

. . . into this. What a privilege!

It is hard to keep up with Alan and Trammell.
The two of them have regular races on their driveway.

Teammates Matter. 🙂

Boot wearing takes balance.

Have you ever been so happy that your toes curl?

Thank you, Amanda and Alan, for inviting me to document your life with your two babies!

Bugs Musical

Monday, May 20th, 2013

Carter was a yellow jacket for The 2nd Grade Bugs Musical this month.

“Be a Lady”

Our neighbor did a great job.

The stink bug and our friend.

Army Ants.

Carter’s favorite song was a surprising choice–a very sweet, melodious “Firefly”.
The lights were dimmed and some of the kids shined flashlights on the ceiling.

Thank you Mrs. Tiner and Ms. Wenglein for all the hard work that you have put into this musical and for sharing music with these kids.

15 Years Together

Thursday, May 16th, 2013

I married this guy 15 years ago on 5.16.98. Greg is one of God’s greatest gifts to me.
We’ve been married long enough to experience the fruit of working through the hard stuff.
We’ve been married long enough to have traveled through some hi highs and low lows.
We’ve been married long enough to see more and more of the people that God is making us into. And that, in itself, is pretty darn exciting.

Here’s to 15 years of seeing our need.
Here’s to 15 years of God’s mercy and grace to us.
Without Him, we simply would not have made it this far.

I am looking forward to the next 15 as Greg’s wife–depending on God.

And thank you, West Vita, for The Vita Booth Pictures.

For the record, Carter doesn’t play baseball–Harrison does. However, Harrison’s coach is kind enough to let Carter and Emmie join in if they want.
